KARACHI (Dunya News) – Crackdown against criminal elements continued Karachi as 16 suspects were detained during rangers and police search operations in different parts of the city on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, Pareedi police carried out an operation in Saddar area in connect with security arrangements on the occasion on Youm-e-Ali. Police searched buildings along the route of the main Youm-e-Ali procession and arrested five suspects.
Police also carried out an operation in Saudabad area and apprehended five accused, including an extortionist. Police also recovered arms and narcotics from the arrested persons. Three accused were also taken into custody from Khokarapar area.
On the other hand, Rangers carried out a search operation in Jhanda Chowk area of Liaquatabad and apprehended three suspects.
