GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI) leader Maulana Samiul Haq on Sunday stated that the entire nation should unite in order to wipe out sectarianism from the country, reported Dunya News.
While addressing Difa-e-Pakistan Conference at the Grand Trunk (GT) road, Maulana Samiul Haq said that national harmony was essential for the country’s progress.
“Alliance of the non-Muslims is unnatural whereas that of the Muslims is natural,” he said. He said that the Muslim ummah should unite in order to fight against the cultural war.
Leaders belonging to various religious and political parties addressed the conference. The participants condemned US drone strikes and Indian intervention in the country.
