Summary Chanda's life could've been endangered as he was eyewitness to the incident, police say
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Protective custody of Saleem Chanda, eyewitness of Amjad Sabri’s murder, was revoked on Sunday. Sources indicated that Chanda was transferred to an undisclosed location from police custody, reported Dunya News.
Chanda was present inside Sabri’s car when unidentified gunmen opened fire that killed the qawwali singer on Wednesday. Sources indicate that Chanda’s help was sought for identifying the gunmen through their sketches.
Police officials stated that Chanda’s life could have been endangered as he was an eyewitness to the incident.
