KARACHI (Dunya News) - Director General Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, Maj Gen Bilal Akbar called on Sindh Chief Minister, Qaim Ali Shah at the Chief Minister House on Wednesday and discussed law and order situation in Karachi, Dunya News reported.
DG Rangers and CM Sindh also discussed in detail recent terrorism incidents in the city, particularly the murder of renowned qawwali singer Amjad Sabri in the metropolis on Wednesday.
The chief minister also asked DG Rangers to step up the ongoing targeted action in Karachi and make it more effective.
Earlier, DG Rangers Maj Gen Bilal Akbar presided over a high level meeting at the Rangers Headquarters and to review the recent surge in the target killing and terrorist incidents in the city.
It was decided in the meeting that indiscriminate action would be taken against terrorists to protect the lives and property of the citizens.
