KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Mustafa Azizabadi stated that renowned qawwali singer Amjad Sabri was receiving death threats since he declined an offer to join Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP), reported Dunya News.
Azizabadi tweeted about his thoughts on Wednesday evening. He stated that Sabri was receiving threats since he decided not to join PSP, adding that Sabri had expressed his concerns a few days back with Muttahida s leaders as well.
Amjad Sabri was shot dead in Karachi’s Liaquatabad area on Wednesday as he was travelling from his home to a television studio to take part in an Iftari transmission.
