Summary Militants blew up explosive materials during the police raid and fled the scene.
MULTAN (Web Desk) - At least two policemen were injured during a search operation in Multan on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
According to police, the blast occurred when the personnel of the counter-terrorism department (CTD) of police including Asmatullah and Khalid raided a house believed to be a hideout of militants at N.L.C. bypass area of Multan, a city in the country s east Punjab province.
The injured cops were shifted to Nishtar Hospital Multan.
Police cordoned off the area and kicked off a search operation in the area.
