Summary Shehbaz Sharif couldn't make cancer hospital despite being Punjab CM, Imran said

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday that the government should give evidence in its own favour regarding the Panama Leaks issue instead of lambasting Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital (SKMCH), reported Dunya News.

While addressing to a fund-raising ceremony held at a private hotel, Khan said that Shaukat Khanum hospital spent 22 billion rupees over the treatment of patients during past 20 years.

He added that the hospital was the only one in the world that treated 70% of its patients free of cost, further stating that none of this would have been possible without the support of the people.

Imran said that Shehbaz Sharif could not make a cancer hospital despite being the Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab. He stated that the government should provide evidence supporting its claims over allegations leveled in the Panama Leaks issue instead of lambasting SKMCH, adding that no one attacks hospitals even during wartime.

He said that the organisation will not be affected by anything said by Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif or Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, adding that the government should carry out investigation if it is that much concerned.
