KARACHI (Dunya News) – Arrested security in-charge of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s headquarters, Minhaj Qazi has revealed that a former MPA was involved in murder of Hamdard’s founder, Hakim Muhammad Saeed, reported Friday.
In a video statement, Qazi has revealed that brother of MQM’s Qamar Mansoor, Mehmood Siddique and the former MPA Zulfiqar Haider were involved in late Saeed’s murder on October 17, 1998.
He also alleged the two of having links with Indian Research and Analysis Wing.
Qazi said that Zulfiqar Haider was in Karachi the day of murder while Qamar Mansoor’s brother was serving as chairman of student union, APMS at the time.
However, he said that he was not affiliated with MQM at the time.
It should also be mentioned here that party workers including Shakir Langra, Imran Pasha, Nadeem alias Mota and Liaquatabad’s local leader Amir were also involved in Hakeem Muhammad Saeed’s murder.
Qazi’s statement has come in a few days after a target killer belonging to MQM’s militant wing, Ahmed Saeed alias Saeed Bharam revealed that RAW trained dozens of political workers to create unrest in the city.
He alleged Pak Sarzameen Party’s leader Anees Qaimkhani of ordering to target former home minister Zulfiqar Mirza and Mohajir Qaumi Movement -Haqiqi’s chief Afaq Ahmed.
In last two days, two video statements of former petroleum minister, Pakistan People’s Party’s Dr Asim Hussain have also surfaced roughly a year after his arrest.
In his statements he has alleged former president Asif Ali Zardari and PPP’s Awais Muzaffar of corruption.
