Summary 'Zero progress' made in today's meeting, said Opposition leaders
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Government and Opposition members of the parliamentary committee formed to cater the Terms of References (TORs) of the Panama Leaks issue were unable to break the deadlock over the matter during another meeting of both sides, reported Dunya News on Tuesday.
Both sides were unable to set a time for the next meeting of the committee. Sources indicate that the government members asked the Opposition side to set the time for the committee’s next meeting to which Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi replied that time for the next meeting shall be set after seeking consultation with other parties of the Opposition.
While conversing with the media at the end of the meeting, Opposition leaders stated that ‘zero progress’ was made in the meeting.
