Summary Family members of 70-year old lady protested and demanded justice
LARKANA (Dunya News) – A doctor who operated an elderly lady three months back who complained about pain in her kidneys, demands fifty-thousand rupees for re-operating the lady after forgetting scissors in her stomach during her first operation, reported Dunya News on Sunday.
The lady, resident of a village named Akram Khan Lanjawani located near Larkana, headed for the urban area after pain in her kidneys became unbearable. The doctor was able to carry out a successful operation of the lady but three months the lady start feeling pain again.
X-Rays revealed that scissors used during her first operation were present in her stomach. The doctor now demands Rs 50,000 from the family members of the lady on order to conduct another operation and remove the scissors.
Family members of the seventy-year-old lady demonstrated in front of the Larkana Press Club and demanded justice over the ordeal they had to go through.
