Summary Arrangements were made at houses to prepare special dishes for Sehri on the first day of Ramazan.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – After so many years, the holy month of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak started on the same day. Arrangements were made at houses to prepare special dishes for Sehri on the first day of Ramazan.

Faithful thronged the mosques across the country to offer Fajr prayers after having Sehri. A large number of children also reached mosques to offer Fajr prayers.

The holy month of Ramazan started in Pakistan after initial testimonies of the sighting of the moon were received from Islamabad, Lahore, Hyderabad and Karachi on Monday.

Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman made announcement regarding the sighting of the moon, marking the beginning of the holy month.
