Summary Karachi shall be converted into a great city, says Sindh CM

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Qaim Ali Shah has stated that those who talk about creating new provinces in Pakistan actually refer to breaking this country, reported Dunya News on Monday.

Shah was conversing with the media after inaugurating the construction of the Younisabad Manora Bridge. The construction of the 380 metre long bridge will be completed in six months and will cost around Rs 190 million.

Sindh CM said that politics should not be done over the issue of water and electricity. He stated that the matter related to the creation of new provinces has been pondered upon seriously. “Those talking on such issues actually refer to breaking up Pakistan”, he said.

While answering a question, Shah said that he has been acquainted with Karachi’s Commissioner since quite some time. He added that Karachi shall be converted into a great city and efforts in this regards are underway.
