LONDON (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited the Prime Minister in Harley Street Clinic and stated while talking to the media that doctors were satisfied with his recovery after open-heart surgery.
While briefing the media regarding Prime Minister’s health after his meeting, Chief Minister Shahbaz said that doctors were quite satisfied with Nawaz Sharif’s condition. The premier took a short walk in hospital’s corridor, he said.
He hoped that the Prime Minister would be shifted to residence in London after few days.
The entire family is thankful to crores of people around the world who prayed for the premier, he added.
On the other hand, premier’s daughter, Maryam Safdar shared on Twitter that Nawaz Sharif was recovering while he got up for short walks several times. She wrote that the premier also used stairs for the purpose.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif underwent an open-heart surgery around a week ago in London. Reportedly, the doctors did not allow him to travel back to take care of some important affairs after checkup.

Leaders of opposition parties including Imran Khan, chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Pakistan People’s Party’s Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl’s chief Fazlur Rehman and others wished the premier early recovery.
However, Pakistan People’s Party’s chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had a rhetorical exchange in the matter after Bilawal alleged Nisar of attempting to replace the premier.
The federal minister replied to Bilawal in a recent press conference in Islamabad terming him ‘ignorant’ of politics.
