KAHNA (Dunya News) – Police recovered body of a14-year-old boy hanging from a tree in Kahna’s Rehan Garden area today (Saturday).
The incident took place when the 14-year-old boy Umar Farooq went missing on Friday evening and his body was found hanging from a tree near Rehan Garden in Kahna.
Getting information about the incident, police personnel arrived at the scene and took the corpse into custody for further legal proceedings.
The officers said that evidences are being gathered from the crime scene while investigation has also been launched into the matter.
Umar was a seventh grade student and was missing since Friday, said policeman.
Umar’s father has also sought justice from the higher officials in this regard.
On the other hand, the suspicious death of Umar has triggered outrage and fear among the locals who have urged the authorities to take stern action against the culprits.
