LONDON (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif telephoned his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi on Monday and thanked him for extending well wishes ahead of his surgery, Dunya News reported.
During the telephonic talk, Narendra Modi wished Nawaz Sharif a speedy recovery.
Narendra Modi had on Saturday extended best wishes to Nawaz Sharif. "My best wishes to PM Nawaz Sharif Sahab for his open heart surgery on Tuesday. And for his speedy recovery & good health," Modi tweeted.
On the other hand Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan telephoned PM Nawaz and conveyed best wishes ahead of his open-heart surgery. Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon also extended well wishes to PM Nawaz.
