Summary PM Nawaz visited Yousaf Raza Gilani's house, felicitated him on son's recovery
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Saturday visited the house of ex-PM Yousaf Raza Gilani in Lahore and congratulated him on his son Ali Gilani’s recovery.
According to details, PM Nawaz along with wife Kalsoom Begum and son Hussain Nawaz reached Yousaf Raza Gilani’s house with buckets of fruits, sweets and bouquet.
During the meeting, Nawaz Sharif said that ongoing operations are giving fruitful outcomes as maximum target has been achieved. He vowed not to sit calm until the elimination of last militant from the country.
PM Nawaz also discussed issue of Panama leaks with Yousaf Raza Gilani after which he pledged to support the premier.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chairman also held separate meeting with Ali Gilani over his abduction and said that the whole Sharif family prayed for his safe recovery.
Moreover, Yousaf Raza Gilani also thanked Nawaz Sharif for sending private plane to Afghanistan for bringing Ali Gilani back to Pakistan.
Earlier on May 12, Ali Haider Gilani was rescued during a counter-terror raid by US and Afghan forces in eastern Afghanistan after three years.
He was kidnapped by militants in the outskirts of Multan in the central Pakistani province of Punjab on May 9, 2013, just two days before a bitterly contested national election in which he was campaigning.
