Police officials' involvement with Uzair Baloch revealed

Summary One Constable and 7 SHOs have been stopped from performing their duties after the revelation.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police officials’ involvement with Gangwar head Uzair Baloch was revealed Sunday after which one Constable and seven Station House Officers (SHO) were stopped from performing their duties. The accused officers have been revealed to be in contact with Baloch.

According to sources, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South has recorded the statements of the seven police officers while SHO Babar Hameed of Shah Faisal Colony police station has been dismissed from his post over the issue.

Furthermore, Inspector Haji Sanaullah has also been stopped from taking charge of the police station. A further five police officers of the Headquarters have also been stopped from performing their duties.

Police high officials have also requested departmental action against the issue.

Baloch, in the Joint Investigation Team’s (JIT) investigation, had revealed of being in contact with seven SHOs and one constable.
