ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) leader Allama Nasir Abbas addressed the media on Sunday and lambasted Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government by stating that it has turned a blind-eye over the killing of many innocent people in Dera Ismail Khan and Parachinar, reported Dunya News.
Nasir Abbas said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan travels to London to meet his children however he is unaware of the orphans in KP. He also criticised Punjab government by stating that nothing is important for Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif other than building Orange Line Metro Train. Sunni Ittehad Council chairman Sahibzada Hamid Raza also addressed the media and stated that the government is not taking effective action against terrorists.
Both leaders stated that the death of common citizens is not being taken into notice at the federal level nor the KP government is paying attention towards the matter and demanded that a commission be formed to investigate the matter. They also threatened to protest if their demands are not met.
