Summary To organise a rally is PTI's constitutional right; administration should provide security, says Khan
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Friday stated that the venue of the party’s rally in Lahore that is going to be organised on Sunday at the Charing Cross will not be changed, reported Dunya News.
While addressing the media prior to leaving for Islamabad from Lahore s Allama Iqbal International Airport, Khan said that he shall return to Lahore tomorrow (Saturday) and will inspect the arrangements made for the rally.
Khan stated that to organise a rally is PTI’s constitutional right adding that it is the administration’s responsibility to provide security for the event.
He said that the venue of the rally will not be changed as similar events have been arranged at the Charing Cross in the past therefore they cannot be held back from holding a rally at the same venue.
