PPP submits call for attention notice over PM's explanatory campaign

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has submitted call for attention notice in National Assembly (NA) concerning the state expenditures over Prime Minister’s (PM) Nawaz Sharif s private explanatory campaign regarding Panama Leaks, reported Dunya News.

The notice was submitted by Shazia Murri, Naveed Qamar, Imran Laghari and several other leaders of PPP at NA secretariat. The notice stated that the government has been paying huge amounts over PM’s personal explanations from the national treasure.

It also stated that the government cannot spend taxpayers’ money for any personal explanations. Moreover, the law does not allow to spend money on PM or his family’s personal issues. The notice stated that the Minister for Broadcasting should explain the case in NA.
