ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday has said that some people want to remove the government from the way of progress through their unjustified criticism but will not gain success by doing so.

The premier said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will bring economic revolution in the country and will change the destiny of nation.

He was talking to the Members of National Assembly who called on him separately in Islamabad.

The Prime Minister said the government is focusing on completion of power projects to end energy crisis.

He urged the elected representative to work for welfare of the people.

PM Nawaz said the government is working day and night for the welfare of the people.

The MNAs who met the Prime Minister include Babar Nawaz Khan, Muhammad Saqlain Bukhari and Malik Sultan Mahmood.

They praised policies of the Prime Minister for the uplift of people and development of the country.

The government is undergoing an immense pressure from the opposition parties following the Panama Leaks issue.

PM Nawaz while addressing the nation apprised them about formation of judicial commission to probe the matter.

The move comes on the heels of calls on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to resign after his family members were named in the offshore accounts mass leak from Panama‘s Mossack Fonseca firm.

After opposition parties’ pressure, the PML-N government wrote a letter to the Chief Justice (CJ) of Pakistan (CJP) Anwar Zaheer Jamali for the formation of a judicial commission to probe the matter.

Moreover, PM Nawaz has also decided to initiate public contact campaign in response of the anti-corruption rallies and protest by the opposition parties against the government.
