ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Opposition parties on Tuesday have geared up against Panama leaks as Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Khursheed Shah and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Shah Mehmood Qureshi telephoned chief of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Siraj-ul-Haq.

The opposition has stood on a same point to prepare strategy against incumbent government over Panama leaks.

Khursheed Shah, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Siraj-ul-Haq discussed new Terms of Reference (TORs) of the investigation commission formed to probe into the Panama Leaks.

Opposition leader also took JI chief into confidence over joint session due on May 2.

On the occasion, Siraj-ul-Haq pledged to do everything to take the national assets back to country.

Earlier, JI staged sit-in at Lahore’s Mall Road on April 24 against corruption and announced to hold countrywide protests against corruption from May 1 onwards.

JI chief said that Leader of the Opposition was told that the Terms of References (TORs) related to the investigation of the matter will be consulted with the opposition, however the government made TORs on its own.

On the other hand, PTI under Imran Khan’s supervision held rally at F-9 Park in Islamabad on the same day.

PTI chairman Imran Khan said that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif will have to go as he has no moral authority to rule the country any longer, adding that he will head towards Lahore next Sunday and will announce a new strategy in regards to the Panama Leaks investigation.
