KARACHI (Dunya News) – Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA) Thursday night foiled a major terrorism bid in Karachi. In a joint action of police and officials of the intelligence department in Clifton Town, the security agencies recovered more than 130 kg of explosives material. Sources claim that two alleged suspects were also taken into custody during the raid.

According to sources, the explosives material recovered by the officials had been buried in the ground. The material was filled into packets and then buried underground in the house.

The raid was conducted on identification of an already arrested terrorist. The material had been shiofted into Karachi recently for the purpose of terrorism.

Raids are being conducted by the security forces to apprehend further accomplices of the suspects.
