Summary Police arrest 4 terrorists on Al Qaeda Subcontinent faction after encounter in Karachi on Thursday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) South, Pareedi Police arrested four terrorists of Al Qaeda Subcontinent faction after an encounter at the MA Jinnah Road in Sadar area of Karachi on Thursday.
The arrested terrorists were identified as Raza Ullah Khan, Hassan, Husnain and Zain and belonged to Hafiz Shahid group of Al Qaeda Subcontinent faction. Four kilograms of explosive material, four SMG rifles and detonators were also recovered from them.
The law enforcement agencies also conducted a raid on the information provided by the arrested terrorists and nabbed seven more persons and recovered arms and hundreds of bullets hidden underground.
On the other hand, a case has been registered against National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officer and his wife at the Shahra-e-Faisal Police Station. NAB officer Ausaf Talpur along with other officials had damaged the parlor of actress Shagufta Ijaz in Gulistan Johar area three days ago and also tortured her security guard.
