Summary The liable teachers may face deduction in increments and suspension of service for 2 years

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Education Department on Tuesday has announced that teachers, department heads, and class heads will be held accountable if passing rate of students gets lower than 33% in examination result, reported Dunya News.

Rather than students, government has decided to punish the teachers with poor examinations results. Teachers with less than 33% of passing rate in examination results of 5th and 8th grade will be caught and punished accordingly.

In this way, responsible school heads and class teachers will be cornered and dealt-with strictly.

The liable teachers may face deduction in increments and suspension of service for 2 years. The provincial Education Department seems focused in this regard as details have also been obtained from every district.
