Afghan president calls PM, offers condolences over Lahore attack

Summary Ashraf Ghani condemned the inhumane attack in Lahore that killed 70

LAHORE (Web Desk/Dunya News) – Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani called Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Monday and offered his condolences over the blast in Lahore that claimed the lives of 70 people and injured over 300, reported Dunya News.

According to PM House representative, PM while conversating with the Afghan president said that terrorism has become a threat for the whole world, Afghanistan is also facing this menace.

PM Nawaz stated that both countries will have to work together in order to wipe out terrorism, adding that the fleeing terrorists are aiming for soft targets. He expressed his resolve to continue Operation Zarb-e-Azb until terrorism meets its end.
