LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif has announced three days of mourning in the province as a result of the blast in the Gulshan Iqbal Park of Lahore on Sunday that claimed the lives of at least 71 people and left 300 people injured, reported Dunya News. Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) provinces have also announced 1 day of mourning.
Flags on governmental buildings to remain at half-mast during the period of mourning. Shehbaz expressed solidarity with the victims of the families of the affectees of the tragedy.
Private schools all over the country will also remain closed today (Monday). This was stated by a spokesman of All Pakistan Private Schools Federation. He said that the decision was taken to express solidarity with the families of those who lost their lives in the tragic incident.
