Summary Hassan Rouhani is on 2-day visit to Pakistan, the honourable guest was also given Guard of Honour
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has on Friday arrived in Pakistan on a two-day visit and he was welcomed by Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif at Noor Khan Airbase. The honourable guest was also welcomed with 21 gun salutes as a Guard of Honour, reported Dunya News.
Hassan Rouhani was also welcomed by Foreign Advisor Sartaj Aziz, Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi and federal minister Zahid Hamid at the airbase.
Rouhani has been visiting Pakistan on the invitation of PM Nawaz Sharif. The Iranian president is accompanied by a delegation of ministers, businessmen and high-level dignitaries. He will meet President Mamnoon Hussain and PM Nawaz Sharif on his tour. Various agreements and memoranda of understandings will be signed between the two countries during the visit.
