LAHORE (Dunya News) – Former Punjab Chief Minister (CM) and leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Pervaiz Elahi while addressing to the media on Sunday criticised the government regarding the way it handled the Pervez Musharraf case, reported Dunya News.
He said that the government accused Musharraf of treason by including article 6 of the constitution in his case but even then the former military ruler was able to find his way out of the country.
He also stated that the ‘patwaris’ have gulped the package that was exclusively introduced for the farmers, as the farmer-class was unable to achieve any benefits through the scheme.
He further added that the government has destroyed the farmers because of its polices, like the ‘Kisan scheme’.
Elahi also lashed the men’s cricket team over their recent performance against India but praised the women’s side over their success.
