Summary Report stated that 5628 votes were casted on fake ID cards

LAHORE (Dunya News) – National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) submitted its report to election tribunal regarding elections of PP 160 on Wednesday and stated that massive irregularities have been observed in the elections, reported Dunya News.

According to the report, NADRA examined 434 bags that belonged to PP 160. 5628 votes were casted on fake ID cards. 78448 counter files were not verified and 47417 were verified. Report also stated that irregularities were observed on a massive scale in PP 160.

526 counter files had no ID card numbers while 812 used counter files had no thumb-impressions of the voters. Malik Saif-ul-Malook Khokar from PML-N was elected from PP 160. PTI candidate Zaheer Abbas Khokhar had challenged Saif-ul-Malook’s win in the elections.
