ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Secretary General Dr Amjad on Wednesday stated that former military ruler of the country Pervez Musharraf will go abroad for a couple of months in order to get treatment, reported Dunya News.

Amjad said that Musharraf’s first stop will be Dubai but his doctors will decide after consultation as to where he will be treated. He further added that the former president will face the cases brought up against him after he returns to the country.

Dr. Amjad also hinted towards the possibility of the coalition or merging of APML with Mustafa Kamal’s party.

APML Secretary General stated that the judicial commission has not declared Musharraf of being directly responsible for the Lal Masjid case, further adding that neither the former president nor Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) were responsible for the happenings on May 12, 2007.
