Summary Sindh Chief Secretary to lead the investigation of the matter
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Friday directed Chief Secretary of the province to initiate investigation regarding the unlawful hiring in Sindh police, reported Dunya News.
The orders have come after a period of three years after the hiring were made. Other irregularities in the police department are also to be investigated.
CM Sindh directed that investigation be done regarding the hiring of police officers more than the announced number of nine thousand. He further ordered to investigate about the mismanagement done in the funds allocated to the police.
CM ordered Sindh Chief Secretary to have the matter investigated through the anti-corruption department. He said instead of restricting the matter to mere reports and findings, action should be taken against the culprits.
