Summary Pollen season has started in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - After wet and cold winter, soon the sprouting process of trees has started during the spring and they are producing pollen grains in the air that creates problems to the people suffering from respiratory diseases.
“The weather conditions foreseen during March will be relatively drier and sunny as compared to the February,” the Met Office reported.
In Islamabad, the pollen producing species are mainly pines, grasses, cannabis and paper mulberry.
Among them, paper mulberry pollen has the largest concentration in Islamabad and its peak season matches with March. This may be treated as first alert for the patient’s sensitive the pollen allergy.
