Summary State Minister admitted the use of already disposed syringes in PIMS
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – State Minister Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Wednesday admitted the use of discarded syringes in Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) hospital and said that those who had been involved in the case will be dealt with strictly, reported Dunya News.
A disturbing fact revealed that PIMS hospital had been using discarded syringes, hence playing with precious human lives. State Minister took a strict action and changed administration of the entire hospital.
The State Minister stated that rather than disposing them off, used syringes were stored, half of them were re-used and another half was sold out in the market.
He added that the case is being investigated and responsible people will be brought in front of the public.
