Summary NDMA has issued a warning due to heavy rains starting from tomorrow

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued an alert as heavy rainfall has been forecasted in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and some areas of northern Punjab on March 10 (Friday), reported Dunya News.

NDMA has predicted that heavy rainfall will shower over some areas of Balochistan and KP causing flood in the canals and streams. For four days, Zhob, Quetta, Kalat, Makran and Nasirabad divisions of Balochistan will be under severe rainfall, Metrological department forecasted.

Warning has also been issued for some areas of KP due to increased risk of floods. It is likely to rain in Kashmir and some areas of northern Punjab on Friday evening. Heavy rain is also expected in DG Khan, Sargodha, Rawalpindi and Gujranwala.

NDMA has instructed provincial disaster management authorities to remain alert in case of any loss due to natural calamity.
