Summary Mustafa Kamal sent as an agent against him to Pakistan by RAW, claims Rehman Malik.
LONDON (Dunya News) – Former Minister for Interior Rehman Malik on Saturday stated that his meetings with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain were held with the permission of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari. Malik claimed that former Mayor Karachi Mustafa Kamal was sent as an agent against him to Pakistan by Indian intelligence agency RAW.
Speaking during a press conference in London, Malik lashed out against the former Mayor saying agencies should hold an in-camera briefing to disclose those who were the foreign agents.
Malik stated that during one of these meetings, Hussain had asked his advice about the matter of divorce.
The former Interior Minister stated that Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad was with Hussain every time he met him.
Malik further stated that Kamal had taken his name just to gain cheap publicity. He stated that if the Federal government did not take any notice of the issue then they will take suo moto action and raise the matter in the House.
He added that the British government had never written him a letter pertaining to slain MQM leader Dr. Imran Farooq’s murder case.
He stated that Zardari had not cancelled his press conference due to Kamal.
