Summary Pakistani High Commissioner said that dialogue is need of the hour for both countries
NEW DELHI (Dunya News) – While addressing a ceremony in the Indian capital, Pakistani High Commissioner in India Abdul Basit stated that the dialogue between India and Pakistan is not the act of courtesy upon any one country, reported Dunya News.
Abdul Basit said that the dialogue between the two neighbours had yet not come across a dead-end and that it was essential to continue communication in order to restore ties to a normal level.
He stated that the Jammu and Kashmir issue is the root cause of the soar ties among India and Pakistan, both countries must cater towards solving it with utmost caution.
He further added that having peaceful ties is in the greater interest of both the countries and to make it a possibility the process of dialogue must start yet again.
