KARACHI (Dunya News) – A local court in Karachi on Wednesday has acquitted as many as three suspects involved in airport attack case.
During the hearing, all the three suspects were presented before the court. The investigation officer told that the detainees were involved in firing at police personnel, attempt to murder case and Karachi airport case.
The criminals identified as Sarmad Siddiqui, Asif Zaheer and Nadeem Burger were arrested by Gulshan Iqbal police in 2014 after an encounter. The officers told that weapons were also recovered from their possession.
Subsequently, the court released the suspects over lack of factual evidence while the airport attack case against them is still under hearing in anti-terrorism court (ATC).
