KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least three students were arrested while a case has been filed against seven people after a clash between two groups at Karachi Federal Urdu University’s Molvi Abdul Haq campus today (Wednesday).
According to details, a scuffle broke out when two groups brawled over the presence of outsider in the campus on the very first of M.phill classes.
The clash intensified, suspending the educational process at university. As many as two teachers were also sustained severe injuries on resisting the incident.
On getting the information, policemen and Rangers personnel arrived at the scene and cordoned off the entire area.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Zeeshan Siddiqui, investigation into the matter has been launched while the officers have arrested three students.
On the other hand, teachers union has announced a three-day mourn and urged the local administration to beef up the security in the premises of university.
