Summary The Excise and Taxation Officer let Chief Minister’s son go back home
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Excise department has seized Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Pervez Khattak’s vehicle after finding out that it was not registered, Dunya News reported Tuesday.
Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO) Zeeshan Ranjha stated that a land cruiser was stopped for snap-checking in provincial capital’s Defense area phase five.
The personnel asked Khattak’s son to present registration documents of the vehicle which he failed to produce at the site. After going through online record, the law enforcers found that the cruiser was not registered.
The Excise and Taxation Officer let Chief Minister’s son go back home however, the vehicle was seized.
Sources said that the vehicle is non-custom paid and does not bear required documents.
