Summary Nisar ordered probe into irregularities in deal between pvt service provider, Pak high commission

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has on Friday ordered investigation into the irregularities in an agreement between Pakistani High Commission in London and a private service provider company, reported Dunya News.

According to Interior Ministry spokesperson, Interior Minister has expressed grave concern over the alleged irregularities in the agreement between Pakistani High Commission in London and a private company. He also ordered Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to investigate the matter and present a report to him after investigating the details of the agreement signed during previous tenure.

Nisar said that the ministries of interior and foreign affairs must ensure that no Pakistani ambassador or high commissioner would sign such anti-people agreement for someone’s benefit. He added that obtaining additional amount for Pakistan’s visa from applicants was unacceptable and condemnable.

Interior Minister also ordered to see if the agreement could be revoked and if due to some reason it wasn’t possible then it must be ensured that the visa fee for Pakistan be reduced to as low as possible.
