Summary PM Nawaz launched Montessori classes in the federal government school in Islamabad.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today (Friday) engaged in lively chit chat with a group of shy students and quizzed them on various subjects during his visit to revamped Azaan Khan Shaheed Model School in F-8 sector of Islamabad.
Nawaz Sharif’s visit to the school was part of the Prime Minister‘s Education Reforms initiative which aims to upgrade 422 schools.
During his visit to a classroom, he quizzed students on various subjects from ABC to geography.

Later, the Prime Minister addressed students at newly-inaugurated Nawaz Sharif Auditorium.
The Prime Minister called for bringing improvements in syllabus to ensure quality education in the schools. He said bringing improvements in the education sector is part of the manifesto of the PML (N) government.
He said billions of rupees are being spent on the renovation and upgradation of facilities at the federal schools. So far, 22 schools have been renovated under the education reforms program.
The Prime Minister directed the authorities concerned to ensure quality of construction in the renovated schools.
He said the laboratories and libraries should be equipped with all the facilities besides the students should have access to better sports facilities.
Nawaz Sharif said the students are the future leaders and they have to play an important role for the progress and bright future of the country.
He also directed that security arrangements should further be strengthened at the educational institutions.
Security situation has improved significantly as a result of successful operation against terrorists, he added.
He said the forward march will continue and the country will be completely rid of terrorism.
The Prime Minister also ensured that electricity load shedding will end within next two years.
