LAHORE (Dunya News) – One group of private school federation on Sunday has refused to reopen schools tomorrow.
According to details, the group has decided to commence the schools after fully ensuring fool-proof security arrangements. The owners have also summoned meeting into the matter.
Earlier today, all the private and government schools across Punjab were decided to reopen from Monday.
The negotiations between local government All Pakistan Private Schools Federation went successful after which the authorities finalliy decided to reopen schools on Monday.
A committee has also been formed to monitor implementation of Standing Operating Procedure (SOP) against terrorism.
On the other hand, Education Minister Rana Mashood assured that all the necessary measurements have been taken for the reopening of the schools.
Further, All Pakistan Private Schools Federation’s President Kashif Mirza, while talking to Dunya News, stated that the provision of security to educational institutes is the responsibility of the government.
He stated that the schools will not open until security is provided. He also demanded that the cases registered against schools be withdrawn.
