Summary Shah said he will tell everything in the Parliament in front of the Prime Minister.
SUKKUR (Web Desk) – Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah on Saturday said that he will respond to Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan’s accusations in the Parliament, Dunya News reported.
Talking to media at his residence in Sukkur, the senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader stated that Chaudhry Nisar is ‘not of his calibre’, thus, he will not give any reply to him.
Shah said he will tell everything in the Parliament in front of the Prime Minister.
“Those levelling allegations on us are inexperenced, we have always strived to save democracy. For this, we are being taunted as a friendly opposition,” he said.
Khurshid Shah further said that the government representatives are narrow-minded.
On Thursday, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan in his first media interaction after the deadly assault on Bacha Khan University in Charsadda, lashed out at the PPP for its criticism of the federal government over the National Action Plan.
He accused the opponents of sowing panic and chaos in Pakistan.
“We are in a state of war, which we are winning militarily but losing psychologically because some people have decided to create chaos by political point-scoring,” Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said.
Apparently criticizing the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leadership, Nisar said those pointing fingers at the National Action Plan (NAP) are working for terrorists.
Recently, the government as well as the military came under intense criticism over their “failure to tackle terrorism” after the January 20 attack on the Bacha Khan University in Charsadda which left at least 21 students and staffers dead.
