Summary Mock exercise was conducted to test security measures and effectiveness of the security forces.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – A joint action military drill of the Pak army, Rangers and Anti-Terrorism squad was conducted Thursday in the most sensitive area of the Federal capital; the Diplomatic enclave in Islamabad’s Red Zone.

The mock exercise was conducted to test the security measures and the effectiveness and vigilance of the security agencies. Fictitious SOS call of terrorists taking staff of a foreign embassy as hostage was communicated to the security forces.

Joint action was conducted by the 3 leading security forces of the country. The officers managed to rescue the foreigners successfully during the mock exercise. Three terrorists were counted as killed and one was counted as arrested during the exercise.
