ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – An agreement between World Bank and Pakistan was signed on Wednesday, by Secretary Economic Affairs Division and Country Director World Bank in Islamabad, according to which World Bank will provide 35 million dollars for water sector capacity building in Pakistan, reported Dunya News.

According to the details, World Bank would provide 35 million dollars as additional financing for water sector capacity building advisory services project. Financing under the agreement would help to improve management, investment planning and capacity building for basic level management of Indus Water Resources.

According to the experts, the water sources are reducing in the country due to climate changes and Pakistan needs to increase its water sources on emergency basis.
