NAVTTC to train 25,000 youth, establish new institutes across Pakistan

LAHORE (Dunya News) – National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) has announced to establish new universities while 25,000 pupils will be trained under Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s programme.

Competitions of deserving male and female students have kick-started today across the country.

Technical education universities will b established in the federation and four provinces. Youth will be able to secure jobs abroad after the training. While addressing a press conference, Executive Director of NAVTTC Zulfiqar Ahmed Cheema said that degree-holders are jobless.

Vocational training would help such youth to get hold of employment in and outside the country, he added.

Cheema said that plumbers, electricians and mechanics are no less than any other professional. New institutes of vocational training would help curb unemployment and inferiority complex among pupils.
