Summary Interior Minister says security situation improved due to cohesion between civil-military leadership
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has on Monday said that some parties are doing politics on the matters of national interest. He said that security situation improved in the country due to cohesion between the civil and military leaders, reported Dunya News.
Addressing National Defence University Islamabad, Chaudhry Nisar said that the security situation has improved in the country. He said that some isolated incidents cannot be equated with total failure of the security in Pakistan.
Nisar said that some people are trying to shine their politics at the cost of national interest. He said that such people are axing the national unity.
“Those who start spreading hopelessness after every incident are in fact a tool in the enemy’s hands”, he said. He added that the security situation has improved due to cohesion in civil-military thinking. “We should strengthen our resolve to end terrorism instead of getting hopeless”, Interior Minister said.
