MULTAN: (Dunya News) – Equipment worth hundreds of thousands of rupees was burnt on Sunday in Multan as a shoe factory caught fire. Rescue and fire brigade teams controlled the fire after an hour long rescue operation, reported Dunya News.
According to details, the factory located on Khanewal Road suddenly caught fire after a spark in the electricity wires and enveloped the entire factory within minutes.
Rescue 1122, Fire Brigade and City Fire teams arrived immediately on the scene and controlled the fire in one hour. Valuable equipment was burnt to ashes. The factory-owner told that 50 labourers were working at the factory at the time when the fire spread.
