Summary Sindh parking was made of Rs. 660 million but the poor employee who lost his home didn’t get a home

KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Alamgir Khan’s ‘Fix It’ campaign hasn’t ended with the problem of the open manholes. Expanding his campaign to other matters, Alamgir Khan has now made another portrait of Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Qaim Ali Shah as his government failed to resolve the problem of a poor employee whose house was taken away due to the new parking made at the Sindh Assembly with a cost of Rs. 660 million, reported Dunya News.

The poor employees who were the victims of this car-parking spent the night under open sky, upon which Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf member of the Sindh Assembly provided a relief bus. ‘Fix It’ campaign fame Alamgir Khan also arrived at the scene to meet the victims but none of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders came to see them.

The insensitivity of Sindh government has seen new heights during the recent months. A contract worth Rs. 660 million was given to contractors for the car-parking but the poor employees are spending the nights under open sky. The poor employees had to spend the night sleepless and even cooked their food by lighting sticks. A victim named Abdul Rasheed got so unwell that he had to be shifted to hospital.

PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh brought the relief bus for the victims and criticized Sindh CM Qaim Ali Shah and his government. Alamgir Khan also came to the victims, made a portrait of Qaim Ali Shah on the road and wrote his message:

Government must provide the victims with residence.
